thank you !! i cant even begin to explain the shock of this all on us..he never ever let on he was feeling bad until it was too late..it feels like that was on purpose..

Ky my heart is just breaking for you and the family!! Poor Isis baby she just doesn't understand where her buddy is...I can't even imagine how heart broke you are, Be strong for the kids they are gonna need you right now....
Ky you gave Onyx a beautiful long happy life, that is all a dog could hope for is a family who loves them.

it was incredibly shocking & difficult ! we had NO idea ! but i really thnk thats what he wanted...how could he have had exams etc and we didnt know..how could it have been too late so fast? im not dwelling on that i really think he waited which is the unselfish wonderful dog he was !

we DO have a "friend" for Isis..she doesnt think so haha...she gets mad @ him and yells @ him..ill post that story when i have time

hes a rescue from disgusting situation in Helotes! HORRIFIC !!!

he was 4 months and joints were so swollen from malnutrition that they didnt know if hes make it !we didnt plan this nor could we really afford to take it on finanacially or mentally with the babys surgeries and everything going on but of course i had to atleast try...

Z today is better...kids are a "little" better..i washed all dog beds blankets and carpets...moped all floors 3 times...washed down base boards etc..Isis & Shaka were searching over & over for Onyx...now that i did that they arent..so i think that was driving them insane...Isis is still very sad but she has periods of happy girl..so im hoping in time she learns Shaka isnt that bad lol..

tough part is Isis being 10 ! i just pray she stays heallthy...my heart cant take it ...& Shaka would lose his mind..he LOVES her as he did Onyx.. seems they are the only dog family hes ever had

thats Cindy her boxer is buddy but the fosters from ABR that i know about are Kiara Rahjah, and i cant for the life of me remember the new ones name..its a male fawn..emaciated..gorgeous though..tall, pretty face

pups name is Shaka Makuakai.. Interpreted to mean “hang loose” or “right on,” the shaka is a constant reminder that in Hawaii, it is not the norm to worry or rush ..a common greeting in surfer culture, In sign language,it's one of the signs that refers to surfing.also used to convey the "Aloha Spirit," gesture of friendship/understanding between the various ethnic cultures that reside within Hawai'i) and Makuakai is the name of our friend whos a pro surfer Makuakai Rothman who taught Diari hw to surf in hawaii..and my friend Loretta( hope kennels hawaii pitty breeder) her Makua .. which Makua also is one of the most secluded beaches on Oahu..known for its incredible mountain scenery featured in the movie, "South Pacific"..truly miss hawaii with all my heart ! this pup was so lost and almost dead due to LOSER MORON IDIOTS ( not sure if i can swear on here lol)...girl these people literally almost KILLED him ! i brought him to the army vet...i said listen i dont have alot of money...please i know you are a teaching vet..please can you run xrays on his legs, blood work and exam i dont need any of the reports just tell me yes or no hes ok? and the commander said YES ! com to find out he was OK !!! he told me thing by thing ..it was wonderful ! to crate rest him, high grade food, all the things i knew from rehabbing Isis..

hes the same age as the baby who just turned one this past friday !..i would LOVE for you to see him and Isis ! do u ever come to SA? we live ON Fort Sam..actually having a bbq with Cindy this weekend..what are you doing? Mrs MARRIED !! hehe
